Associate of Science in Computer Science:
This program prepares students for entry-level to intermediate-level positions in programming and networking. Students learn to perform administrative functions required in operating systems administration, web page construction, and systems analysis and design.
The program is designed to meet the immediate and future needs of Northern Nevada. The local industry is booming and will add many new jobs to the area this year. Furthermore, the jobs new to the area are desirable because they are high-paying. “They are the kind of jobs we want to grow here because they add to a very strong local economy,” according to the Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada.
